WINTER

SPRING
  Grunion Run (watching fish spawn)
This is the site to find out when the grunions run. I'm sure it doesn't sound like one of the coolest LA things to do, but it is quite interesting. Find out when the tide is high and go. http://www.dfg.ca.gov/mrd/gruschd.html

  NoHo Arts Festival
This event was fantastic a few years ago when it was small and focused on theatre. You can still get free tickets to all sorts of shows all weekend long but you know have to navigate carnival rides and street fair. http://www.dfg.ca.gov/mrd/gruschd.html
