I've been doing some Stand-Up at the Westside Eclectic. I must say, they've given me one of the most prime time-slots there is; 11:00 pm on a Thursday. So, I've done the show three times now and two of those times - I was spot on hilarious. I bet you're wishing you had been there. I'm not focusing on it though. I only do it because I'm Captain Awesome when it comes to stand-up. Most of my time is being spent writing a musical which you'll hear more about come December.
JUNE 27, 2006 - NEW SITE
If I recall it's been three years since I overhauled this site. Really it came down to the fact that I don't look my pictures anymore. Most of them were taken 4-5 years ago. My new good friend Amy Fisler took this new batch in conjunction with a short film I put together. Many a thanks to Amy who currently has an exhibit running in BYU's Harris Fine Arts Center.

MARCH 15, 2006 - TICKETS ON SALE NOW
I have to mention this because I'm having such a good time with it. There is a musical number and it rocks. It captures all the Arbor elements we hadn't touched upon and I just dig the tunes. Ok. I just had to tell somebody.
MARCH 5, 2006 - ARBOR DAY AUDITIONS
Wow! We had over 600 people submit to be part of this upcoming show. We invited a selection to audition and we saw some funny people. I wish I more parts available. If we were forming a troupe we would have definately held on to a few more, but as we were casting a specific show we got those persons who we thought best fit the roles. I'm excited.
DECEMBER 20, 2005 - MERRY CHRISTMAS
It was quite merry this year around the Eclectic. We had a successful run with a lot of momentum building. It was great working with Erin, Chris, Lisa-Marie, Sarah & Dan. Everybody really pitched in to make the show run smooth. Unfortionatly Christmas got in the way and we could only run three weekends. Expect a longer run for Arbor Day.
NOVEMBER 19, 2005 - MAGIC CAN WAIT
I was supposed to have gone to 6 Flags Magic Mountain today, but opted instead to get the site ready for the upcoming Show. Most of the information is up and discounted tickets are available.
OCTOBER 20, 2005 - 3RD ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BARREL
I have promoted bands and comedians off and on for 5 years. The Christmas Barrel came about when I realized that I had several friends who had a few Christmas songs but not enough for a whole show. So I lumped them all together and had a fantastic time. I brought in sketch comedy troupes and stand ups and we all did 5 -10 minutes of Christmas material. Well the show is still going on here in LA. It will run December 3, 10, 17 at the Eclectic.
OCTOBER 1, 2005 - FRIGHT AWARENESS SEMINAR HAS BEEN POSTPONED

AUGUST 3, 2005 - THE END OF VALENTINES
I guess the show concluded just a few days ago but it feels like a distant memory. The Completely Not Valentines was well reviewed and I needed a tax write-off to push me into a lower tax bracket, so overall, it was a great show. Everyone loved Adrina Thorpe

I performed with the band at a friend's birthday party who didn't realize that the 20th was my birthday as well. Wasn't that neat. If you want to hear what I was up to 23 years ago check out one of my earliest recordings.

NOVEMBER 9, 2004 - I WAS ATTACKED BY THREE RACOONS.
I was returning from the Laugh Factory, feeling rather pleased with my performance that evening, when I noticed three masked mammals outside my apartment. I ran inside to get my camera. Strangely, my roommate wasn't interested. I returned to find that they had fled into the trees. I snapped a few pictures from below, when suddenly I became paranoid they we're going to jump down at me. I covered my head and swiftly got back inside. I assume they are still there.
SEPTEMBER 27, 2004 - I PACKED UP AND MOVED TO LA.
I returned to the United States in Mid July, and after visiting with family, I began working on a comedy in Utah. After the film wrapped, I decided there was nothing keeping me in Utah and I ought to try some place new. It took a day or two of crashing on couches, but I've settled into my new apartment and will be performing in the area soon.

DEC 15, 2003 - I'M MOVING TO TAIWAN
I've been wanting to get over to the East for a few years and thought I would take the opportunity while things were slow. I will be teaching English to children in a private school outside of Taichung. I'll be there for at least six months begining in January.

AUGUST 10, 2003 - FINALLY ANOTHER FUNNY SONG.
You have to take inspiration when it comes and it's hard to place orders. I have no compliants. I wrote some great songs this summer but I hadn't been focused on anything humorous. If you want to hear "Can you feel my balding head?" stop by Hastings Bookstore in Logan Utah on Sept. 4th.
